PLAN FOR ALL THREE DAYS

Each day of the show offers unique opportunities. We encourage exhibitors to participate in all of them, including the workshops and book & author events.

TICKETED EVENTS
The book & author events are great social events as well as literary events. We encourage attendees to buy "all event" tickets. You have to eat, anyway. The book & author events provide a great experience, signed copies, and networking.
· Friday Book Awards Luncheon (Friday)
· Author Feast (Friday)
· Booksellers Banquet (Saturday)
· Children's Book & Author Breakfast (Sunday)

WORKSHOPS
The GLBA presents a full slate of workshops on Friday and Sunday. There is an all-day school for front-line booksellers on Friday, a great opportunity for store owners to provide solid training for their staff. In addition, there are three tracks of stand-alone, one-hour workshops. These fall into three general categories: technology, operations, and authors. Finally, on Sunday, the Plenary Session brings everyone together to consider a topic for critical relevance for our industry. This year:s topic concerns the crucial role of independent booksellers in free society to allow books that are out of the mainstream to be published and sold.

AUTOGRAPHINGS
There are three autographing sessions this year, one on Friday, two on Sunday. The food events are also sources of autographed copies. The books of authors who take part in the Authors Feast, Booksellers Banquet, and Children's Book & Author Breakfast, are distributed to those who attend. Those authors typically do NOT take part in other autographing sessions.
